What we collect
- Account information such as name, email address, password hash, role, and verification state.
- Professional verification details, certificates, seller type, and moderation history.
- Listing content including titles, descriptions, categories, pricing, condition, and uploaded photos.
- Buyer and seller order data, including order status, payment status, shipping or collection preferences, and support history.
- Support messages and moderation communication if you contact BeautyBye about an account, order, or listing.
- Analytics or diagnostic events when analytics is enabled in the app or web experience.
How we use it
- To create and secure accounts.
- To verify professional sellers and manage moderation.
- To display marketplace listings, seller profiles, and order history.
- To facilitate buyer protection, checkout, payout routing, refunds, and dispute handling.
- To improve listing suggestions, product matching, and safety review workflows.
- To respond to support requests and maintain marketplace integrity.
Payments and Stripe
Payments are processed through Stripe. BeautyBye does not store raw card details. Seller payouts are handled through Stripe Connect and buyer protection fees are retained by BeautyBye as part of the checkout flow.
Listing review
BeautyBye may review listing photos, descriptions, seller details, and moderation outcomes so the team can keep the marketplace professional, safe, and accurately categorised.
Data deletion and support
To request help with account data, listing removal, or privacy questions, visit the Support page. If you want data deletion guidance, include the email address on the account and the type of request you are making.
Closed community launch
BeautyBye may launch in a closed or founding-member stage. During that period, the platform may rely on moderation, invite-based onboarding, and enhanced review before listings or seller accounts are approved for public visibility.
